10441497_10153194491928833_2473973944512547674_nLora is an Irish Priestess with a strong interest and experience in Irish history, heritage, archaeology, mythology, and pre-Christian Irish Spirituality.  You could call her Pagan, Witch, Druid, Priestess or Shaman, and you wouldn’t be wrong, although she doesn’t call herself anything but Bean Draoí – a female user of magick.  She is a guide, a teacher, she and Barbara Lee run an annual magical/alternative spirituality event of workshops, talks, stalls and performance, called Féile Draíochta. Lora writes Irish heritage articles and books, including ‘Irish Witchcraft from an Irish Witch’ and her latest ‘A Practical Guide to Irish Spirituality’, which combines her psychology studies with very accessible information and technique, to provide a clear pathway for connection to Ireland. With experience over 20 years in many Pagan traditions including Alexandrian Wicca, Thelema, Reiki and Druidry – Lora’s roots remain in the Irish landscape, native sacred sites and ancient mythology of Ireland. A guide and guardian at Rathcroghan Royal Site in the West of Ireland for over 13 years, her focus is on genuine connection between land and people; co-creating ceremonies that are respectful of any tradition or religious beliefs, and reflective of an authentic relationship between Ireland’s past and the rites of passage of our modern communities.
